An acute care hospital in North Central Florida is hiring a CVICU RN. This is a placement managed by Lela Boom Consulting Group.
About the role
The CVICU RN serves as a primary advocate for patients and families, safeguarding privacy and confidentiality throughout every interaction. In this role, you will deliver high-acuity, focused nursing care to critically ill cardiovascular patients while maintaining a commitment to continuous clinical improvement. You will educate patients and families on medications, treatment plans, and discharge instructions, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
What you need
- 1 year of recent (within the last 2–3 years) acute care ICU RN experience; candidates with 2+ years of PCU RN experience will also be considered
- Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required; compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation
- Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
- BLS within 30 days of hire/transfer
- ACLS within 90 days of hire/transfer
Schedule
Nights with rotating weekends.
Pay and benefits
$32.00 - $48.00/hr
