An acute care hospital in the Florida Panhandle is hiring an ER RN. This is a placement managed by Lela Boom Consulting Group.

About the role

Working within a team of 6 FTEs on the night shift, this RN will triage, assess, and treat patients of all ages across the full acuity spectrum — from minor injuries to critically ill presentations. You will develop individualized care plans that identify expected outcomes and prescribe strategies and alternatives to attain them, while simultaneously managing multiple cases and continuously reprioritizing patient needs. Patient handoff includes delivering follow-up care instructions and arranging necessary referrals. Throughout, you will coordinate closely with physicians and departments across the hospital, maintaining a consistent focus on patient safety.

What you need

• 1+ years Recent ER Acute Care (within the last year) RN experience — strong ICU or PCU background may also be considered
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida, multistate or able to obtain licensure prior to start is required
• Associate Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma
• BLS must be obtained prior to employment start date
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt, or ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt, or PALS Instructor must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date

Schedule

Nights with rotating weekends.

Pay and benefits

$29.92 - $44.88/hr plus $10,000 sign-on bonus
