About the role
The Behavioral Health Nursing Manager leads nursing operations across a large inpatient behavioral health unit serving a broad patient population that includes children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. This role carries responsibility for the day-to-day clinical and operational oversight of the unit, ensuring safe, effective care delivery across all age groups. The manager guides and supports nursing staff in maintaining clinical standards and a therapeutic environment, while also coordinating with interdisciplinary teams to support patient outcomes. This is a leadership position requiring both clinical expertise in behavioral health and the ability to direct a sizable nursing team within an acute care setting.
What you need
- Associate Degree
- (RN) Registered Nurse
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Fingerprint required
Schedule
Full-time, days, no weekends.
Pay and benefits
$38.52 - $55.20/hr
