An acute care hospital in South Florida is hiring a Nurse Manager Cardiac Cath Lab RN. This is a placement managed by Lela Boom Consulting Group.
About the role
The Nurse Manager reports directly to the C-Suite and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Lab (Special Procedures), Electrophysiology, and Pre/Post Holding Unit. The team consists of RNs and CVL Technicians across these areas. This leader ensures quality patient care is delivered on a 24-hour basis while serving as a liaison between patients, their representatives, and physicians. The position carries accountability for resource management, productivity, and cost efficiency across all cardiovascular lab services, and plays a key role in growing and expanding the service line.
What you need
- Current Florida license as Registered Nurse or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions)
- Bachelors Degree from an accredited School of Nursing
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Minimum 3 years of clinical Cath Lab nursing experience in an acute care setting
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a full time Charge Nurse / Coordinator, Nursing Administrative Supervisor, or Nursing Management
- Min 3 yrs CVL clinical experience
- Min 2 yrs CVL leadership experience Charge / ANM or above
Schedule
Full-time, days (no weekends).
Pay and benefits
$42.36 - $61.50/hr plus Sign-on bonus available
