A rehabilitation hospital in North Central Florida is hiring a Physical Therapist. This is a placement managed by Lela Boom Consulting Group.
About the role
In this position, you will evaluate patient abilities and develop personalized treatment plans in close collaboration with physicians and the broader care team. Day-to-day work centers on delivering evidence-based interventions to restore movement, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life, while monitoring progress and refining therapy plans as patient needs evolve. You will maintain accurate, timely documentation of outcomes and educate patients and families on home exercise programs, adaptive techniques, and safe practices that support lasting North Central Florida. The role also involves cross-disciplinary collaboration to ensure cohesive, patient-centered care and smooth recovery transitions, as well as mentoring therapy assistants or students as opportunities arise.
What you need
- State Licensed Physical Therapist Required
- Vocational School Graduate Required
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- 1+ years of Physical Therapist experience preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply
Schedule
Days with rotating weekends, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM, with schedules typically staggered based on hospital needs.
Pay and benefits
$35.77 - $49.18/hr plus Sign On: On a case by case basis; Relocation Assistance: Case by Case
