An acute care hospital in South Florida is hiring a Physical Therapist. This is a placement managed by Lela Boom Consulting Group.
About the role
In this position, you will conduct evaluations and deliver treatment interventions within the full scope of physical therapy practice, assessing patients' therapeutic, rehabilitative, and functional status to inform the total plan of care. You will provide skilled, purposeful therapeutic care in the patient's home environment, applying procedures and techniques aligned with the physician's plan of care to produce measurable changes in condition and function. Patient and caregiver education is a core part of this role — you will instruct patients, families, and caregivers on exercises, therapeutic appliances, and prosthetic devices intended for use outside of formal therapy sessions. You will also manage day-to-day clinical operations by prioritizing caseload, determining daily staffing needs, and coordinating assignments and handoffs.
What you need
- Bachelor's Degree
- Licensed Physical Therapy
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Must have at least 2 years of experience in an acute care setting
Schedule
Full-time, days with rotating weekends.
Pay and benefits
$36.53 - $53.20/hr plus Sign-on bonus available
