About the role
The Physical Therapist manages the complete therapeutic care process for an assigned patient caseload in coordination with the physician and patient care team, conducting thorough assessments and contributing to individualized care plans focused on goal achievement and patient engagement. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing evaluations and treatment interventions within the scope of practice established by law and professional code of ethics, assessing and evaluating therapeutic, rehabilitative, and functional status to support the total plan of care, and delivering skilled therapeutic care using procedures and techniques designed to produce measurable changes in condition and function consistent with the physician's plan of care. The PT also instructs patients, families, and caregivers in the use of therapies, exercises, therapeutic appliances, and prosthetic devices for use outside of therapy sessions, and prioritizes caseload while determining daily staffing needs and coordinating assignments and handoffs.
What you need
- Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of FL REQUIRED
- Masters Degree, or Bachelors Degree
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- New graduates are welcome to apply, but must hold the FL license at time of hire
Schedule
Full-time, day shift with no weekend requirement.
Pay and benefits
$36.53 - $53.20/hr plus Sign-on bonus available
