A regional medical center in the Four Corners region, New Mexico is hiring a RN - ED (Nights). This is a placement managed by Lela Boom Consulting Group.

About the role

The department operates under a team nursing and pod system model, with a social worker and a unit educator assigned directly to the department. You will apply skills in trauma, stroke, STEMI, sepsis, and moderate sedation, and will work with equipment including Zoll Defibrillators, Level One Blood Transfusers, QinFlow Blood Warmers, Hospira Plum360 pumps, Freestyle and iStat point-of-care devices, and ultrasound-guided IV placement. Patient ratios are 4:1 in the main ED and 6:1 in Fast Track. Charting is done in Cerner.

What you need

• RN – ADN (minimum education required)
• At least 2 years of acute care experience
• Skills and experience in Trauma, Stroke, STEMI, Sepsis, and Moderate Sedation
• BLS required upon submission. All other required certifications can be obtained after hire; please refer to Life Support Certification document in attachments.
• Open to candidates who do not hold New Mexico or Compact licensure. Candidates must obtain prior to start.

Schedule

Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM.

Pay and benefits

$29.05 - $46.48/hr plus $2 sign-on bonus
