About the role
The Director of Risk Management is responsible for overseeing risk management programs and initiatives within the hospital setting. This position draws on a foundation of clinical nursing experience combined with leadership expertise to identify, assess, and mitigate organizational risk. The role works across departments to ensure compliance, patient safety, and sound risk management practices.
What you need
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school
- Active New Mexico RN license
- Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 3 years in a Director or Manager capacity
- Risk Management experience required
- Preferred: Prior acute healthcare risk management experience, which may substitute for the leadership experience requirement
- Preferred: Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) certification preferred upon hire and required within three years of employment
Pay and benefits
$120,000 - $150,000 per year
